Freight lorries carrying livestock are a common sight on our roads today but this wasn’t always the case. This evening Ken will take us into the world of drovers and drove roads; methods of getting livestock from their native farmland to market in years gone by.

As we move around the area, unbeknown to us, we will travel past some hidden gems of our history; gems shrouded in the mists of time. This evening, Dave will peel back time to reveal some of the long forgotten stories of ‘The Hidden North East’.
